M L Hart Builders Ltd is committed to the further training and development of all its employees and this will be achieved by offering individuals or groups of employees the training and development they require or request to:-.

  1. Develop professional skills for the enhancement of profession or career.

  2. Comply with health and safety legislation and the company’s health and safety policy.

  3. Broaden their present skill base or cross over to another skill base.

  4. Work effectively within the company team.

  5. Help the company keep to the forefront of technological innovation.

Implementation

The company directors are responsible for the implementation of the training and development policy and ensuring that the system meets the needs of all parties-

The key points to achieving the policy requirements are:-

  1. Encouraging employees to take responsibility for the development and empowering them to
    reach new or higher goals.

  2. Discussing with each employee the possibilities and individual requirements.

  3. Setting out a framework for individuals and the company development for training requirements.

  4. Monitoring the whole process to ensure expectation and requirement are achieved.

  5. Regularly review this policy to ensure it reaches its objectives and future legal, technological, professional and management requirements.
